Position: Disability Support Worker

Location: Strathfield, New South Wales

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with disabilities.
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and wellbeing.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times.
  • Build compassionate and trustworthy relationships with clients.
  • Utilise hoisting equipment for client transfers and mobility support.
  • Work morning shifts 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday)

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • A compassionate and caring nature.
  • High level of trustworthiness and integrity.
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in disability support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $36.00 – $70.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Required)
  • Can you work 7–9 a.m. shifts Monday to Saturday? (Required)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required)
  • Are you comfortable with personal care and changing nappies (Required)
  • Driver Licence (Required)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)
