Senior Design Manager

Title:

• Due to continued growth in our Defence portfolio, we are excited to announce another opportunity for a Senior Design Manager to join our KBR Adelaide team.

• Are you an experienced Design Manager with a track record of delivering projects within the Defence sector?

• Do you currently hold, or have eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance?

With new project wins and ongoing expansion in the Defence space, we are looking for a talented and driven Senior Design Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Adelaide and play a pivotal role in a key Defence project.

Position Overview:
As a Senior Design Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our engineering and design management activities. You will ensure that deliverables meet scope, cost, time, and quality objectives while fostering strong, trusted relationships with our clients.

Your success will come from your ability to collaborate effectively, build and maintain strong partnerships with your team and the customer, and apply your leadership skills to guide a diverse, multi-disciplinary team towards outstanding outcomes for both clients and stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

• Extensive infrastructure engineering & design experience, ideally within the Defence sector.

• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams with a focus on people leadership.

• Experience working under a Defence Design Services Contract and/or Managing Contract.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.

• Highly developed stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.

• Strong scope awareness in complex project environments.

• Must be an Australian Citizen and the ability to obtain Defence clearance.
