The Role:
Join our dynamic team in Sydney and play a crucial part of our Managed IT solutions team as a skilled and dedicated Network Administrator. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining hardware and software, monitoring network and server performance, and ensuring our clients' IT environments remain secure, efficient, and reliable. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and have a strong background in IT networks and systems, this role is tailor-made for you.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain IT infrastructure, including both hardware components and software systems.
- Oversee the functionality and reliability of networked devices such as servers, desktop units, and peripheral equipment.
- Administer access controls, user credentials, and system-level security settings.
- Investigate technical issues, implement solutions, and record resolutions for future reference.
- Keep detailed logs of system configurations and asset inventories.
- Deliver front-line technical support and facilitate user onboarding or training when needed.
- Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of local and wide area networks.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in network administration or support (MSP experience highly regarded).
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, hardware, and operating systems.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and user access management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
