About the role

Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto is seeking an experienced Senior Automotive Technician to join our team at our West Lakes, SA location. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional automotive repair and maintenance services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models using the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques
  • Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles to the highest standard
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers on vehicle condition and required work
  • Ensure all work is completed in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken and parts used
  • Mentor and train junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a qualified and highly skilled automotive technician
  • Demonstrated expertise in the diagnosis and repair of a wide range of vehicle makes and models
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems and components
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide clear and honest advice
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • A current driver's licence and your own tools
  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
