About the role
We are currently recruiting a Safety Business Partner to join our Operations, People and Safety division. As a Safety Business Partner you'll be a key safety leader within Essential Energy, helping to shape and embed a culture of safe practice across the organisation. You'll provide strategic and operational safety advice, influence stakeholders, and support the implementation of safety programs that align with corporate goals and regulatory standards.
- Lead the delivery of Health and Safety strategies across employees, contractors, and service providers.
- Provide expert guidance on safety investigations, audits, and incident management.
This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint and will be a secondment for 12 months.
About You
You're a safety-focused professional with a strong background in health, safety, and environment. You bring a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for coaching and mentoring others. You thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to continuous improvement and fostering a culture of safety and inclusion.
- Proven experience in safety leadership across large geographic regions.
- Strong understanding of safety legislation, standards, and audit systems
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, coaching, and mentoring
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety and Environment or equivalent experience.
