
Behaviour Support Practitioner – Positive Practices

Positive Practices is seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Clinician to deliver high-quality, evidence-based support to people living with disability. About the Role:
- As a Behaviour Support Clinician, you will:
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop tailored behaviour support plans
- Deliver interventions that reduce behaviours of concern and enhance quality of life
- Collaborate with participants, families, support staff, and providers to ensure holistic care
- Provide training and mentoring to staff and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices Rules
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service quality and safety
- Foster a positive workplace culture and engage in ongoing professional development
What You'll Bring:
- Degree in Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Behavioural Science
- Registration with relevant professional association
- NDIS registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Advanced or Proficient level)
- Experience working with NDIS participants with behaviours of concern
- Strong understanding of restrictive practices and relevant legislation
- Proven ability to deliver contemporary, evidence-based behaviour support
- Excellent communication, case management, and training skills
- NT Driver's Licence (or ability to obtain)
