Behaviour Support Practitioner – Positive Practices

Positive Practices is seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Clinician to deliver high-quality, evidence-based support to people living with disability. About the Role:

  • As a Behaviour Support Clinician, you will:
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop tailored behaviour support plans
  • Deliver interventions that reduce behaviours of concern and enhance quality of life
  • Collaborate with participants, families, support staff, and providers to ensure holistic care
  • Provide training and mentoring to staff and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices Rules
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service quality and safety
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and engage in ongoing professional development

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree in Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Behavioural Science
  • Registration with relevant professional association
  • NDIS registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Advanced or Proficient level)
  • Experience working with NDIS participants with behaviours of concern
  • Strong understanding of restrictive practices and relevant legislation
  • Proven ability to deliver contemporary, evidence-based behaviour support
  • Excellent communication, case management, and training skills
  • NT Driver's Licence (or ability to obtain)
