About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused person to join our team at Cass Brothers - Bathroom, Kitchen and Plumbing Supplies' in Petersham, NSW. The position is Full-time, five days a week, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-5pm, with one rostered day off per week. Notably, the showroom is closed on Sunday's.
What you'll be doing
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering inquiries and helping them find the right plumbing supplies for their needs
- Process orders and payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth customer experience
- Maintain organised and well-stocked product displays to create a visually appealing retail environment
- Assist with restocking shelves, and ensuring product availability
- Collaborate with the wider team to identify and implement ways to enhance customer service and sales
- Contribute to a positive and productive work culture by supporting your colleagues and proactively addressing any customer concerns
What we're looking for
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent problem-solving and quick-thinking abilities to handle customer inquiries and requests efficiently
- Attention to detail and numeracy skills to accurately process orders and payments
- Familiarity with plumbing supplies and home improvement products is highly desirable
