Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Records Management strategy, policies, and procedures in alignment with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
  • Serve as advisor on records lifecycle management (creation, classification, retention, disposition, and archiving).
  • Support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and other compliance-related activities pertaining to records management.
  • Collaborate with business units, IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure consistent application of RIM practices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the selection, deployment, and optimization of Electronic Document and Records Management Systems.
  • Monitor changes in records management laws, regulations, and industry standards; recommend updates to organizational practices as needed.
  • Lead and support records clean-up, digitization, and migration projects to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Develop and maintain records retention schedules in consultation with business and legal stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in records and information management, including policy development and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with EDRMS tools (e.g., OpenText, SharePoint, M-Files, IBM FileNet).
  • Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and eDiscovery concepts.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and training skills.
