A day in your life as a BWS Area Manager:

• Delivering the BWS strategy by leading, coaching and motivating a team of Store Managers spanning multi sites to deliver our vision of creating a more sociable future, together.
• Driving a culture of team connectedness across locations (Connected Communities) and way of working.
• Contributing to & implementing BWS operational plans within the State and Area to guide & ensure delivery of the overall business strategy.
• Communicating clear direction, strategy, goals and expectations, developing an inclusive, positive team culture.
• Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to enhance customer experiences along with looking for ways to do things simpler for your teams.
• Role modelling working horizontally as an Area Manager, sharing learnings, solving business problems and best practice to improve team and customer experiences.
• Identifying and developing talent to build a pipeline for the future.

Qualifications

About you

• Strong leadership experience in managing multiple sites (ideally 15+) and large teams (ideally 100+) within a retail environment.
• Experience in navigating complex licencing/regulatory landscapes will be well regarded.
• Passion and transformational leadership abilities.

• A customer and team focused approach.
• An ability to guide, develop and inspire your team through change.
• Flexibility to travel as required in the role.
