We're seeking a dynamic Manager - Strategic Asset Management (Rail) to join a high-impact team driving innovation and excellence in transport asset planning. This is an initial contract for 3 months, with a possibility of extension. The role offers up to $117 per hour + super, reflecting the seniority and expertise required.

Your new role

  • Lead the development of long-term asset strategies for heavy rail maintenance and renewal
  • Collaborate across planning, intelligence, and service teams to align investment with performance goals
  • Provide expert advice on tram network asset planning and lifecycle optimisation
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and forums to drive alignment and innovation

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, asset management, or business
  • Extensive experience in asset management, rail, or related industries
  • Proven track record in investment planning and project delivery
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking capabilities
