About the role

The Lead, Quality plays a crucial role in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality systems across Mental Health First Aid globally. With a strong background in quality management systems, this position will support a program of continuous improvement, analysing data and trends to implement corrective actions. An adept communicator, the successful candidate will possess the ability to gain rapport and build trust, enjoy working in a dynamic, collaborative environment and on multiple projects while achieving excellent results.

The incumbent will be well versed in leading change management processes for quality framework systems. The ability to train team members and our international partners to a high standard is essential to embedding the quality systems.

About you

You will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Mental Health, Quality or Education) or similar experience including the implementation of and managing quality frameworks.
  • Current APHRA registration.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated experience in facilitating training (or similar), with a minimum of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Formal training and/or demonstrated experience in quality management system (ISO9001:2015) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated high level project and process management skills and the ability to plan, lead and deliver implementation activities on time and in budget.
  • A high level of organisation with strong planning and time management skills.
  • Proven multi-tasking skills and the ability to work under pressure.
