Senior Cyber Sustainment Engineer (Linux, PAM, PKI) – NV1 | Canberra

Seeking a hands-on cyber engineer to harden, operate, and improve security across Linux and Microsoft platforms, PAM, PKI, vulnerability management, and application control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and harden 
    Linux/RHEL
     estates using 
    Red Hat Satellite, IdM, fapolicyd
    , and policy baselines.
  • Implement and sustain 
    Application Control
     (e.g., 
    Carbon Black, WDAC
    ).
  • Own 
    Vulnerability Management
     pipelines (
    Tenable
    , 
    runZero
    ), triage findings, drive remediation and reporting.
  • Administer 
    Privileged Access Management
     (
    Delinea Secret Server
    , 
    MFA
    , 
    Entra ID
    ); least-privilege and break-glass controls.
  • Manage 
    PKI
     (
    ADCS
    ) and certificate lifecycle; enforce TLS/mutual-TLS standards.
  • Support 
    Entra ID Cloud Sync
     and directory hygiene.
  • Patch management across 
    Linux/Windows
    , configuration automation, and drift control (
    Ansible/PowerShell
    ).
  • Contribute to incident response, change/release, and security documentation.
