Hatchit Studios is seeking a
Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Infrastructure Engineer
to support a major
federal government program
focused on enhancing security and modernising identity services.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled and security-conscious engineer with experience across
Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
,
Unify Broker
,
Entra ID
, and
Privileged Access Management (PAM)
tools such as
CyberArk
or
Secret Server
. You'll work as part of a collaborative
Platform Services team
, contributing to secure, scalable, and modern identity solutions across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain enterprise identity platforms including
    Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
    and
    Unify Broker
    .
  • Contribute to the management of
    Privileged Access Management (PAM)
    tools (e.g. CyberArk, Secret Server).
  • Provide operational support for
    Windows Server environments
    , including
    Active Directory, Entra ID, MECM, SCOM, and Intune
    .
  • Troubleshoot and advise on identity and access issues across infrastructure and business teams.
  • Collaborate with
    Cyber, HR, and Application teams
    to deliver secure identity services.
  • Drive continual improvement of
    IAM models, workflows, and configurations
    .
  • Create and maintain documentation – including
    change records, designs, and security assessments
    .
  • Mentor and uplift team capability in IAM best practice.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong background in
    Identity & Access Management (IAM)
    and
    Privileged Access Management (PAM)
    principles.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
    ,
    Unify Broker
    , and
    Entra ID
    .
  • Proven experience across
    Windows Server
    ,
    Active Directory
    ,
    DNS
    ,
    PKI
    ,
    ADFS
    ,
    DFS
    , and
    System Centre
    tools (SCOM, MECM, Intune).
  • Understanding of
    cyber security tools and practices
    – whitelisting, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and device control.
  • Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
  • (Desirable) Familiarity with
    Australian Government Cyber Security frameworks
    – ISM, Essential 8, and ACSC Hardening Guides.
