• Location: Open to candidates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Adelaide
• On-site Requirement: 3-4 days in the office per week
• Why On-site? This is a highly collaborative position involving regular face-to-face workshops and close team interaction, making in-office presence essential.

What's the role?

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll perform and lead business analysis tasks for the Retail and Digital Transition Transformation office.

• Define the associated scope in alignment with the project objectives, desired business outcomes, and capabilities being delivered for small to medium projects; demonstrate an understanding of the agreed value outcomes; support larger and/or more complex initiatives as needed.
• Navigate and manage stakeholder resistance or conflict to build effective working relationships that support successful outcomes; offer guidance and direction to team members where appropriate.
• Identify, select, and manage resources within a consolidated model that considers required capabilities, hybrid roles, spans of control, and levels of experience for large and complex projects or programs; provide support and leadership to others.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of requirements throughout large-scale projects independently. Demonstrate the ability to structure and package requirements within complex workstreams, achieving consensus and formal approval without external direction.
• Deliver clear and impactful messages by tailoring the medium, audience, and content to suit the context; provide mentorship and guidance to others in communication best practices.

What do I need?

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry, with insight into customer needs and operational environments
• Background as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst, with a strong foundation in analysing and delivering business solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with frontline teams such as branch networks, call centres, or operations, with empathy for their perspectives.
• Background in developing new products or digital experiences, with a focus on user impact and innovation.
• Experience contributing to large-scale transformation initiatives, with a focus on business process improvement, data and systems analysis, and business case development.
• Strong understanding of strategic and operational aspects of technology and business systems, with familiarity in project management practices and stakeholder engagement.
