About the Opportunity

Working at Ken Bores mine site new Greenfields site on an 8/6 or 7/7 roster. This position will be supporting the customer with the Hitachi fleet on site with technical issues and creating solutions to meet their needs, will be assisting HCA staff with technical and diagnostic support.

Reporting to the Pilbara Manager, the main responsibilities include:

Supporting Hitachi equipment and our customers
Performing diagnostic evaluations, trouble shooting and fault finding
Performing hydraulic testing, machine inspections and customer reports
Performing electrical testing , machine inspections and customer reports
Working with internal departments to provide high levels of service
Promoting parts and service in line with branch sales and margin targets
Assisting HCA technicians with technical faults on all HCA equipment range

To be successful in this role you will need:

Relevant trade qualifications
Excellent technical knowledge of construction / mining equipment
Excellent computer literacy skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to travel as required in line with customer needs

Scaled rates – starting rate $67/hr, potential to qualify for $85/hr based on yearly performance & training completed

1hr of Airport standby time & 2hrs of flight travel time paid to/from the Pilbara
All travel hours on site paid – airport to site, intersite, and site to camp / vice versa
Reimbursements paid for transport to and from home to airport, or airport parking

12hrs paid fatigue days whilst in the Pilbara
210hr annual leave & 10 days' personal leave per annum
