Description

We currently have an opportunity for a proactive and detail oriented Operational Services Officer to join our team based in Launceston, TAS. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Asphalt & Products operational line of businesses, ensuring the smooth execution of transactional and contract management processes. 

KEY TASKS

  • Support office operations, coordinate meetings, manage travel and accommodation, cover reception and oversee staff onboarding/offboarding.
  • Accurately input financial and operational data into the ERP system, including invoicing, procurement, inventory, and month-end activities.
  • Process transactions correctly, manage accounts payable, and ensure job costing data is entered and maintained accurately.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing, cost allocation, purchase orders, and supplier/subcontractor payments.
  • Deliver data integrity, support financial performance reviews, and meet month-end deadlines.

ABOUT YOU

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an administration role.
  • Proficient in core administrative competencies including spreadsheeting and document writing/formatting (intermediate use of Microsoft Office 365 applications).
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation. Thoroughness in completing tasks and following up as required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building strong relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and committed to continuous learning and development.
