About the role

We are seeking a Farm livestock and operations assistant to join our team at RedHills , Arthur River WA 6315.

We are a family run operation with a welcoming atmosphere, where staff stay for years because they value the work and the community.

We prioritise happy, engaged workers. You will be part of a farm that cares about its land and its people

This is a full-time role that will encompass all areas of farming -our lamb feedlot, sheep and cropping operations

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the general care and management of our farm livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and wellbeing
  • Cleaning grain and mixing rations for our lamb feedlot . Feeding using a tractor driven feed wagon
  • Helping with the daily farm operations-every day brings variety
  • Fencing and yard building
  • Operate machinery such as telehandlers, tractors, trucks. ...(we will train you if you have knowledge gaps)
  • Work with our friendly team to ensure efficient running of the farm

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience in farm labour or a similar agricultural role
  • An understanding of livestock care and farming operations
  • Excellent observational and problem-solving skills to identify and address any issues that may arise
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the wider farm team
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the farm
