The Langham, Gold Coast has an opportunity for an experienced Safety and Security Manager to join our team. 

Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Safety & Security Manager, you lead and
manage all the Hotel Operation in respect to all Safety & Security matters.  As Safety and Security Manager you will be
responsible for the safety and comfort of all hotel guests, colleagues, their
belongings and the security of all hotel assets as well as Work, Health and Safety across the hotel.

As a key member of Department Management Team you will bring your expertise to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, guests and assets.  This will include the development and implementation policy related to safety and security as well as recommendations with regards to safety and security measures, whilst co-ordinating the security team across the property.

Qualifications & SkillsTo be successful in the role you will have held a similar or same role in a Hotel environment as well as the following key attributes:

  • Previous security and WHS experience
  • Advanced understanding of Australian Standards, Operation of Fire and EWIS Systems
  • QLD Security Licence
  • Eligible to hold a "Working with children" permit
  • Senior First Aid certificate (desirable)
  • Good working knowledge of hotel operations
  • Occupational Health and Safety Training Qualifications preferable
  • Proven team management
  • Superior communication skills
  • Extremely organised with an excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work rotating rosters
  • Australian work rights
