SYNOPSIS:

This role supports the delivery of capital works projects while embedding First Nations perspectives across planning, design, and implementation. It combines project management with cultural engagement, aligning with the National Gallery's commitment to placing First Nations first. Working closely with the Capital Works Department, First Nations staff, and stakeholders, the role ensures projects reflect cultural values and inclusive practices. It also supports the Reconciliation Action Plan and First Nations First Principles. The Capital Works program includes over $200 million in upgrades and the development of a sustainable asset management strategy.

This is a full-time, 24 month non-ongoing position, with the possibility of becoming ongoing. Applications close 11:50pm Monday, 10 November 2025.
