With a strong reputation for excellence, they deliver innovative solutions in Building Structure Repairs and Infrastructure Asset Management. Their specialties include Building Refurbishment, Concrete Remediation, Cladding Replacement, Facade Upgrades, Waterproofing, and Protective Coating / Blast & Paint works.

The Role

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a  Project Manager with experience running Defence Building, Refurbishment and Facade Upgrade projects to join their Canberra team.

Reporting directly into the ACT Operations Manager, this Project Manager would be responsible for the successful leadership and delivery of various Refurbishment and Facade Upgrade projects, with a focus on key deliverables including all facets of safety, quality, operational, financial and customer satisfaction.

What are we looking for?

  • Essential - Minimum 2 years' local (Australia) experience as a Project Manager working Builder side (Not consultancy side) managing Refurbishment, or Facade Upgrade, or Remedial Building projects.
  • Knowledge required - Refurbishment, Remedial Building, Waterproofing, and Facade / Cladding Replacement.
  • Essential - Bachelor's degree in Project Management, or Construction Management or a related field.
  • We will also consider experienced Remedial Building Site Managers that come from a trade background as a carpenter who have been working in Remedial Building, Refurbishment, and Facade Upgrades.
  • A proactive and professional Project Manager with the proven ability to communicate with all stakeholders including clients, engineers, consultants, sub-contractors and internal staff.
  • Work with integrity and dedication to forge long-term, strong relationships.
  • Strong ability to influence and lead teams.
