We're offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Survey Drafter to join our Norwood team. You don't need cadastral experience, we'll support you to build it. What matters is your drafting skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

In this role, you'll prepare survey plans across a wide variety of projects, gain exposure to point clouds and 3D survey data, and develop your career towards specialist cadastral drafting with plans for lodgement at the Lands Titles Office.

What you'll work on

·       Residential and commercial developments

·       Subdivisions, easements, leases, boundary adjustments and other cadastral plans

·       Engineering, infrastructure and construction projects

·       Topographic, feature and as-constructed surveys

Responsibilities

·       Draft surveying plans including cadastral, engineering, architectural and topographic

·       Review and interpret 3D survey data and point clouds for CAD plan presentation

·       Complete drafting tasks using the Autodesk suite and 12D

·       Work within the drafting team while collaborating across all teams in the business

What You'll Bring

·       Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar drafting software

·       Understanding of coordinate systems in a CAD environment

·       Familiarity with architectural or engineering plans

·       An interest in developing expertise in cadastral drafting, with no prior experience required

·       Willingness to learn or build capability with point clouds and 3D models
