About the role
We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Coffs Doctors' in Coffs Harbour, NSW. This is a full time or part-time position, offering a flexible work environment within our welcoming and supportive medical practice.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and courteous manner
- Scheduling appointments, confirming patient details, and maintaining accurate records
- Answering incoming phone calls and providing assistance to patients as needed
- Handling patient inquiries, payments, and other administrative duties
- Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times
- Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive patient experience
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a healthcare setting is preferred or in a similar customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using medical practice management software and computer systems
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
- A team player who is adaptable and willing to learn
