Middlemount Coal are looking for a Dispatch Coordinator to join the team. This is a staff position 7/7 Day/Night roster reporting to the Mining Supervisor.

The role oversees the daily operations of the heavy mobile equipment, and related resources, using fleet management system and coordinating with operations supervisors. The role will ensure that resources and equipment are utilized efficiently and in the most cost effect manner. It also reports on mining performance on daily, weekly and monthly basis.

In this role you will:

· Provide input, guidance and feedback to plans and schedules and actively work to optimise the mine plan

· Build cross-functional relationships with both operational and functional based teams to support production delivery.

· Be the central communication liaison for the mine production, safety and emergency events.

· Actively pursue opportunities for continuous improvement

· Facilitate the smooth transition between normal mining operations and shutdown periods

· Ability to work with integrity, maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

· Comply & promote Middlemount Coals Values and Policies.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.

· Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

· Ability to maintain focus when dealing with competing demands.

· Display strong & professional communication skills.

· Display strong microsoft office experience - in particular excel

· Provide accurate and timely data entry, with high attention to detail.
