The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capability Manager: Counter Measures (ECM & C-UAS & Exploitation) to lead the strategic development, integration, and growth of EPE's counter measure and exploitation capabilities. This role ensures that EPE maintains a world-class offering in Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) and Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS), aligned with evolving operational threats.

You will work across business development, engineering, delivery, and partner organisations to shape innovative solutions, secure new opportunities, and strengthen EPE's domestic and international footprint. As a client-facing role, the Capability Manager will also build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

·      Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow EPE's Counter Measure and exploitation capability.

·      Lead solution design, proposal development, and bid submissions for ECM, C-UAS, and exploitation solutions.

·      Manage opportunity pipelines, contacts, and forecasts via CRM tools.

·      Achieve revenue targets through successful contracts and partnerships.

·      Provide subject matter expertise in ECM, C-UAS and exploitation, supporting proposals, delivery, and through-life support.

·      Maintain strong relationships with OEM partners and ensure compliance with ITAR, AQIS, and regulatory requirements.

·      Represent EPE at industry events, conferences, trials, and demonstrations.

·      Deliver training, capability planning, and technical support for countermeasure systems.

·      Maintain accurate documentation, promotional material, and training packages.

·      Support broader product line managers and ensure compliance with company values, quality, and safety standards.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

·      Significant user or industry experience in countermeasures, specifically ECM, C-UAS and exploitation solutions.

·      Proven ability to operate countermeasure equipment in complex environments.

·      Strong capability in IT systems, including CRM and standard office software.

·      Demonstrated ability to deliver results in client-facing, commercially driven roles.

·      Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (minimum NV1).

Desirable:

·      Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

·      Business qualifications (Certificate or Diploma).

·      Military or first responder experience.

·      Experience in training design, delivery, or sales.
