Your Role:

As a Level 2 Onsite Engineer at Blackbird IT, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping technical solutions aligned with our clients' strategic objectives and architecture. Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving as the face of our company during onsite visits, embodying our values and working with professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency.
• Implementing technical solutions as part of our project team (server, storage, network, cloud).
• Providing technical direction and guidance to clients both on-site and remotely.
• Collaborating with your peers to solve technical issues.
• Assisting with the pre-sales and quoting process.
• Planning and maintaining clients' IT requirements.
• Documenting network information and providing job reports.
• Troubleshooting clients' technical issues.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience of Systems Integration and/or consulting related experience in complex environments, with knowledge of server, virtualisation, messaging, and networking technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (and/or Microsoft Azure) and Windows Server.
• Experience with VMWare ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experience with Apple devices and management
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trusted relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of an organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to respond to complex, unusual, intermittent, or undefined malfunctions, requiring the development of new alternative approaches.
• A client-centric background and focus.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure while acting with a sense of urgency.
• Capability to work independently to accomplish tasks.

• Microsoft 365 / Azure
• Sophos
• Fortinet
• Veeam
