In this role, you will deliver high-quality vocational education and training in electrical programs, supporting students to achieve their learning and career goals.-->-->Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and assess vocational electrical training using diverse adult learning methods across various learning environmentsSupport student success through engagement strategies, accurate record-keeping, and pastoral care, including follow-up on absencesCollaborate with colleagues and industry in curriculum development, validation, moderation, and continuous improvement initiativesProvide leadership and guidance in specialist areas, including mentoring staff and advising on student and employer training needsStay current with industry and educational trends, integrating new technologies and practices into teaching and learningPromote programs and build partnerships through community engagement, marketing, and facilitating vocational placements-->-->Skills and Experience RequiredVictorian Electrical A Grade LicenseCertificate III in ElectrotechnologyCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)Demonstrated teaching experience and understanding of adult learning principlesStrong interpersonal, communication, and ICT skillsAbility to innovate and adapt to emerging needsKnowledge of VET compliance and quality assurance frameworks-->-->Additional RequirementsSuccessful candidate will be required to provide:A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)A National Police CheckHow to ApplyClick Apply to submit your application through Melbourne Polytechnic's careers portal.
