This is an exciting opportunity to join Lighting Illusions, one of Australia's fastest-growing lighting and ceiling fan retailers.

We currently have an opportunity in our Fortitude Valley store in QLD for a dynamic, customer focussed Assistant Store Manager, with a successful track record of achievement in retail management. This is a full-time position with an attractive salary & incentive package with free onsite parking. This position requires availability to work a five-day roster including one weekend day.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be assisting with store operations and ensuring that it is managed effectively to deliver outstanding results. This position requires previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar retail environment, strong financial awareness and the drive to help coach and develop a team. We strive to provide our customers with the best service possible and for that we require our staff to be reliable and embrace a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assist in leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maximising sales and profit earnings
  • Assist in maintaining expense levels according to set budgets
  • Assist in managing, coaching and developing team members
  • Ensuring the team culture is maintained

Tools in your kit:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally & written
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Proven track record of retail experience
  • Possess strong leadership qualities
  • Experience within the lighting & fan industry would be a bonus
