Cornerstone Pizzeria Restaurant is looking for a Pizziolo

Are you a quick and easy learner?

Experience is not required, but cooking/pizza making experience is preferred.

30 hours a week.

Duties:

  • Preparing and cooking food
  • Working with dough
  • Monitoring food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
  • Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
  • Assisting in training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene and OH&S regulations and procedures
  • Assisting in planning menus and specials
  • Freezing and preserving food
  • Assisting in planning menus for special functions
  • Assisting in monitoring stocks of food and kitchen supplies
  • Assisting in checking food deliveries for quality, correct temperature and quantities
  • Ensuring quality of dishes cooked
  • Ensuring safe food storage and preservation in accordance with Food Safety Plan
