Pizza Maker

**Cornerstone Pizzeria Italian Restaurant is looking for Chefs and pizza makers to work full-time.**

**We are looking for a qualified, motivated, highly experienced chefs to join our team of passionate and dedicated kitchen staff.**

**Duties**:

- Preparing and cooking food
- Working with dough
- Monitoring food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Assisting in training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and OH&S regulations and procedures
- Assisting in planning menus and specials
- Freezing and preserving food
- Assisting in planning menus for special functions
- Assisting in monitoring stocks of food and kitchen supplies
- Assisting in checking food deliveries for quality, correct temperature and quantities
- Ensuring quality of dishes cooked
- Ensuring safe food storage and preservation in accordance with Food Safety Plan

Must have minimum 2 years’ experience working as Chef in a busy kitchen and some experience in cooking Italian cuisine highly desirable.
Must be team players who can abide by company policy and go the extra mile when required.

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
