About the Position

Are you a strategic, values-led leader ready to shape the future of Corporate Services in a progressive local government? The City of South Perth (the City) is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director Corporate Services to lead a broad portfolio including Finance, Information Systems, Governance, People & Performance, as well as Customer, Communications & Engagement. As a key member of the Executive Management Team, you'll work closely with the CEO and senior leaders to drive operational excellence, deliver impactful projects, and foster a high-performing, community and values focused culture.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven executive leadership across corporate services
  • Strong people leadership skills and the ability to inspire and maintain a values-based culture
  • Strategic corporate planning and financial management expertise
  • A deep understanding of local government frameworks, laws, risk, and compliance
  • Experience driving innovation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills

What We Offer

  • Total remuneration package between $240,000 to $280,000 p.a. (dependant on skills & experience)
  • Fully maintained City vehicle with Executive Private Use or a Novated Lease option with free on-site parking
  • 4 weeks annual leave + Executive Study Leave
