Band 8 - Salary Range $127,546 to $142,788 per annum + 12% Super + ADO

The Opportunity

Melton City Council is going through a period of rapid growth and change, delivering capital and IT projects for the benefit of our growing community.

Sitting in the cross-organisational ePMO, you'll be working with Project Managers, Project Owners, Executive and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that data and processes are clear and high-quality to build confidence in decision-making and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously improving Council's project management processes and templates.
• Supporting best practice project governance practices.
• Building the skills and confidence of staff across the organsiation to manage projects effectively.
• Building relationships which make you a trusted advisor rather than the methodology police.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

• Certification in a recognised project management methodology.
• Extensive experience with project management frameworks, understanding methodologies and good governance.
• An eye for detail, while never losing sight of the big picture.
• The ability to work with ambiguity, pro-actively explore options and solve problems with the customer in mind.
