Hello Teams is a fast-growing global Microsoft Teams Phone provider, headquartered in Melbourne and expanding rapidly across APAC, the US, and beyond. Since launching in 2021, we've helped hundreds of businesses globally modernise their voice, contact centre, and collaboration stack — all natively within Microsoft Teams. We've built a solid foundation, strong partnerships (including Microsoft), and a dynamic, high-performance team. Now we're looking to bring on a true Enterprise BDM to help drive our next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
This is a
greenfield
,
hunter
role. There's no inherited pipeline. No warm handovers. No waiting around for leads. You'll be expected to hit the ground running — bringing with you an established network of enterprise contacts and a proven track record of building, nurturing, and closing large-scale deals from scratch.
You'll be selling high-value Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and cloud telephony solutions to enterprise clients across industries. Expect long sales cycles, complex procurement environments, and deals that require finesse, patience, and persistence.
What You'll Do
- Own and execute a 6–12 month new logo acquisition strategy for enterprise customers
- Build pipeline from scratch using your existing network, outbound prospecting, and partner alignment (Microsoft, ISVs, etc.)
- Engage and influence decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital/IT, Procurement)
- Run full sales cycle from discovery to close — including quoting, scoping, and deal negotiation
- Collaborate with internal teams (tech, ops, presales, support) to deliver tailored solutions and ensure smooth onboarding
- Represent Hello Teams at industry events, roundtables, and within your network
- Report weekly forecasting based on seat count targets, not fluff
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience
, with a
proven track record in telco, UCaaS, or cloud voice sales - Demonstrated experience selling Microsoft Teams Phone, cloud telephony and contact centre solutions is essential — this is a mandatory requirement
- A deep, ready-to-go network
of decision-makers you can tap into immediately - Confidence in selling into complex environments with long sales cycles
- Ability to scope customer needs and quote accurately
- Excellent communication, self-management, and a "do what it takes" mindset
- Comfort working autonomously in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
