The Opportunity

Kingston Green Retirement Living, located in Cheltenham, is a friendly community set in a location and spread across beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens. Home to 140+ independent living units, you will enjoy spending time outdoors, maintaining the day-to-day upkeep of our gardens and grounds. You will enjoy building relationships with residents, being hands-on and take pride in the lawns, gardens and grounds of the community. This opportunity is a permanent part-time position working every Tuesday & Thursday 9-5pm (flexible on shift time)

Your Impact

  • Work with the fellow Gardeners to maintain of all village gardens including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching and green waste removal
  • Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors
  • Maintain effective working relationships with maintenance contractors and suppliers
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
  • Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with well-maintained areas.

What you'll bring

  • A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
  • Experience in domestic gardening duties such as mowing, pruning and mulching (highly desired)
  • Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)
  • Valid driver's licence and two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
