We are seeking two Full-time Area Managers to create and develop sales for Tate Wine. One for the Central & North area the other for the South & Peel area. The portfolio includes the award winning Miles from Nowhere, Best Blocks, Small World and Tatelbaum. The Tate family has a long history in the Western Australia Wine industry (since 1974) and are looking for someone who shares a passion for the wines, history, and achievements.

The successful candidate will be to manage sales for off premise accounts and a small collection on on premise clients and possess the ability to open doors to new business.

You will be part of a great team and must be a driven, passionate sale professional who has an entrepreneurial spirit and who is able to sell and develop their territory accordingly.

This opportunity suits a personality who will live and breathe the role and who wants to be part of the most highly successful business of its type. An attractive salary package will be offered for the right person plus superannuation, car allowance and tools of the trade.

Your main responsibilities will include:

· Drive direct sales to Key Accounts within an established territory and to achieve personal sales budget.

· Sales of our own wines and imported sparklings to new and existing customers.

· Work with the Sales Director to ensure account objectives are met.

· Review sales achievement (actual) against budgets and take corrective action where necessary.

· Wine tastings in store at at various events

· Taking part in Promotional opportunities such as wine shows

The role requires visiting our customers following a call cycle and includes tastings on Friday and some Saturday evenings.

The Successful candidates will reside in their respective sales area Central or North / South or Peel area, have strong communication skills and be a proven performer in a sales focused role

•Proven experience in sales is considered essential and proven track record

• Ability to achieve sales targets


• Exceptional communication skills, persuasive/sales ability


•Friendly, strong customer-service orientation


• Ability to work in a team and/or alone.


• Able to work in a pressured environment


• Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously


• Desire to work in a dynamic, fast past paced and busy organization


• Knowledge of the Wine Industry is desirable
