About You:

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and have a sense of urgency.
  • Experience within the refrigerated transport sector desired.
  • Current MC License.
  • Previous experience in a similar role desired.

About the Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Move trailers, unload and load trucks and keep freight moving.
  • Driving a yard tug to move B-Double and Single trailers in and out of the depot.
  • Move and reverse trailers through the depot into allocated bays.
  • Plan and monitor all trailer movements to ensure adherence to the operations schedule.
  • Supporting smooth and efficient operations for our transport teams.
  • Perform visual inspections and report any damages to freight or equipment to your supervisor immediately.
  • Ensure that the yard equipment is positioned effectively in accordance with operational requirements.
