Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across their two largest regions NSW/ACT and QLD. This is a significant milestone for our business and our enduring 80+ year relationship with the Australian Defence Force.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Support the region PAS Manager, by providing Range / Estate Upkeep maintenance, operation and security. This includes after-hours caretaker duties during exercises.

• Ensure alignment with Defence infrastructure strategies and compliance standards. 

• Provide technical and non-technical range operation and maintenance, including booking management, site preparedness and support services.

• Conduct inspection, maintenance and upkeep of all training areas and camp assets.

• Capture TARM and EU performance metrics. Provide input into reporting to support the PAS Manager.
  
   

What You'll Bring
 

• Extensive experience in estate development and infrastructure management. 

• Strong understanding of Defence estate planning and compliance frameworks. 

• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills. 

• Proficiency in planning, budgeting, and reporting for infrastructure projects. 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or related fields.
