Desert City is looking for passionate, energetic people, hiring out ofRockhampton for full time, ongoing work.

This role is managing one of our mining camps.

Inductions and certificates that will make your application stand out include:

  • A national police clearance (dated within 6 months)
  • Full Manual Australian driver license
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)

Highly desirable qualifications/experience:

  • Chef qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher or equivalent)
  • Oil and Gas Industry Safety Induction (ISI or DCGI) (or willing to obtain)
  • Current 4WD certificates (PMASUP236 or RIIVEH305E or RIIVEH305F) (or willing to obtain)
  • Previous experience working in remote environments

As the Camp Manager you will be responsible for:

· Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the camp

· Lead the Desert City team on site

· Liaising directly with the client on site and planning and adapting as required

· Listening to customers and altering menus to the feedback

· Preparing great meals – Lunches & Dinners

· Making bread, desserts and cakes as required

· Ensuring all company and client's KPI's are met

· Owning responsibility for your own safety and those around you
