About the Company:

We are a proudly independently owned supermarket, established in December 2023. The store is located at the heart of the developing Alira Berwick Estate. Inside our modern store, it features a liquor department, freshly baked daily goods, hot foods, coffee, slurpee, and a yet to open deli. Our new and developing neighbours include child care, chemist, restaurants and dentist, just to name a few.

The Role:

In this fast paced and demanding supermarket, no two days are the same and you will be thinking on your feet from start to finish. You ensure the store runs smoothly and daily targets are met whilst taking good care of our valued customers and supporting the team.

Your daily duties:

  • Planning and assigning staff duties
  • Ensuring procedures are followed
  • Training staff and providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Stocking shelves and rotating stock
  • Ensuring stock displayed are at the right price and in date
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving issues

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a leadership position in retail or hospitality
  • Working in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Previous liquor selling experience is a bonus
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate required or we can assist you in obtaining this if you do not have one.
