About the Role
We are seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Torrens Health Marketing & Communications team. This is a dynamic role supporting the National Marketing & Communications Manager in delivering engaging, high-impact communications across our diverse healthcare group.
Your expertise will span internal and external communications, media relations, event management, brand oversight, and strategic planning. You will play a key role in shaping our brand voice and ensuring consistent, effective messaging that reflects our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and produce engaging content across media releases, newsletters, websites, social media, and collateral.
- Support communications strategy development and implement tactical plans.
- Manage internal communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external events, from planning through to evaluation.
- Oversee public relations activity, including both traditional and digital media.
- Provide brand management expertise, ensuring design protocols and narrative consistency.
- Build strong networks across Torrens Health and provide proactive client service.
About You
We're looking for a communications professional who is creative, organised, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll bring:
- Qualifications: Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, or similar.
- Experience: At least 2 years' experience in communications, marketing, or PR (agency or in-house).
- Skills: Excellent writing, relationship-building, and project management.
- Technical ability: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Canva, Mailchimp (or similar), and Adobe tools.
- Personal attributes: Strategic thinker with attention to detail, proactive, confident communicator, and strong team collaborator.
