About this Position:
Lismore City Council is leading a powerful transformation; and Finance is at the forefront. We are building a future-focused, high performing finance function that doesn't just support the organisation but drives it forward.
The Management Accountant plays a pivotal role in supporting sustainable, evidence-based decision-making across Lismore City Council. By providing expert financial advice, analysis, and insights, you will act as a trusted Business Partner. You will collaborate with departments to deliver real-time support that informs operational decisions and contributes to the financial health of Council.

What you will need to be successful:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or business
- Full membership of a recognised professional institute or nearing completion (CA, CPA, IPA or equivalent)
- Advanced financial systems literacy including Microsoft Excel
- Extensive experience in financial and/or management accounting
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

Full Time: 70 hours a fortnight.
Salary: Salary range from $89,267 to $102,657 per annum, plus superannuation.
