The Andersen Partnership have partnered with an ambitious and driven business partner who is building a
purpose-driven, specialist law practice
and seeking a lawyer to join as assist build the firm - with equity after 6 months. This is an exceptional opportunity to move beyond a traditional firm structure and have a direct hand in shaping a business focused on achieving justice for vulnerable clients.

The Vision: A Specialised and Growing Firm

The foundation for this new firm is already in place, with the business operating since 2021. Their core focus is finding a lawyer to
manage and run the existing caseload
.

  • Institutional Abuse:
    Dedicated to representing survivors and advocating for meaningful change.
  • Personal Injury:
    With a focus on
    Total and Permanent Disability (TPD)
    and
    Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)
    claims. They anticipate a significant volume of work across
    New South Wales (NSW)
    and
    Victoria (VIC) however this can be tailored to the candidates experience with a particular jurisdiction if needed.
  • The firm will be structured to efficiently utilize Barrister support for litigation.
  • A key differentiator for their practice is a specific interest and commitment to working within the
    prison systems
    , aiming to provide support and justice to individuals within those environments.
  • My client is looking for a legal professional who can take charge of
    file management
    and provide expert support in establishing the operational excellence of the new firm. This is more than just a job; it's a chance to be a
    founding partner
    and influence the firm's direction and success from day one.

Experienced Required:

  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of running and managing legal files
    from inception to resolution.
  • Proven experience in Institutional Abuse matters
    is essential.
  • Significant experience in Personal Injury law,
    particularly TPD and MVA claims, ideally with experience in the NSW or VIC jurisdictions.

The Opportunity:

  • Remote-First Role:
    Enjoy the flexibility of a remote position, though experience in NSW or VIC is highly preferred as this is where the work will be focused.
  • Equity & Commission:
    After a successful six-month probationary period, you will receive an
    equity share
    in the firm and a
    20% commission
    on all legal fees received once files are settled
