Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll have full accountability for the running of the store in the absence of the store manager. You'll take pride in contributing to a store which is exceptionally presented, welcoming and engaging for our customers, team members and local community.

We are a leading QLD supermarket chain with 6 stores across South East QLD. We supply fresh, local, high-quality food to the customers seven days a week.

We are currently taking applications for a Grocery Manager.

You will be required to promote and maintain an exceptional standard of customer service through personal example and direction whilst taking responsibility for our store.

This hands-on role will include:

  • Supervising, inducting and training team members
  • Receiving, replenishing and maintaining high standards of stock presentation in the store
  • Juggling multiple things at once, motivating others and keeping calm under pressure.
  • Serving and building relationships with customers
  • Overseeing store operations
  • The role involves a rotating roster, including Days, Weekends and Nights
  • Ordering and Inventory Management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring stock levels are adequate, rotated, and department presentation is well maintained.
  • Ensuring security procedures are followed.
  • Learning every aspect of running a store
  • Assisting store management in driving sales and achieving targets
  • Help develop, guide and motivate a capable team of store staff of the highest quality and standard.
  • Have experience in supervising people.
  • Be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy and reliable.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Providing the highest standards of customer service Be willing to "go that extra mile" for our customers

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a successful national police clearance.
