We are seeking a motivated and dedicated General Surgeon (post-Fellowship or near-Fellowship) to join a dynamic Department of General Surgery.

About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality surgical care across acute/emergency, elective, and outpatient settings
  • Operate in Main Theatres and Day Procedure Unit
  • Participate in ward rounds, post-op reviews and inter-specialty consults
  • Supervise and mentor surgical registrars and RMOs
  • Engage in research, teaching, and quality improvement activities in partnership with UTAS

Benefits

  • CPD allowance: $16,974 p.a.
  • Motor vehicle allowance: $28,786 p.a. or fully maintained vehicle
  • PPS: up to 35% of base salary + on-call
