Tax Accountant and Business Advisory

Adelaide, South Australia SA Wealth Group Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

SA Wealth Group are seeking an experienced and senior Tax Accountant and Business Advisor to join our professional staff on a full-time basis, expanding our accounting client book and developing a portfolio of new business opportunities.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide existing clients with tax, business advisory and accounting services
  • Assist with tax research and advice
  • Prepare and review financial statements, corporate and personal income taxes, sales and use tax, etc.
  • Advise and consult on taxation issues, such as tax implications of business decisions
  • Manage and maintain our tax database, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Identify tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits for clients

Experience & attributes:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in tax accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of current and emerging tax laws and regulations
  • Great relationship building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
