About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gaming Manager to oversee the gaming operations at our North Ryde RSL Community Club. As the Gaming Manager, you will be responsible for managing the gaming floor, optimising the gaming experience for our members and guests and ensuring compliance with relevant gaming regulations. This full-time role is based at North Ryde.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the gaming floor, including monitoring gaming activities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant gaming regulations including AML/CTF regulations and RGO/RCG requirements.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to maximise gaming revenue, including optimising the gaming product mix, promotional activities, and customer service initiatives
  3. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of gaming machines and related equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and comply with industry standards
  4. Analyse gaming data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and make informed business decisions
  5. Assist in the execution of plans to maximise gaming revenue through our Rewards Program - including promotions, incentives, and loyalty programs.

  6. Provide excellent customer service to our members and guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable and engaging gaming experience

  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure the gaming operations align with the overall business strategy

What we're looking for

  1. Significant experience in a gaming management role, within the hospitality industry
  2. Minimum 3 years of gaming management experience required
  3. Tertiary education desirable
  4. Experience with the IGT system desirable
  5. Must have RSA, RCG, ARCG and AML/CTF oversight training
  6. Be willing to undertake a National Police Check
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  8. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide a high-quality gaming experience for our members and guests
  9. Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a team
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
