About the Role

Western Downs Civil is seeking highly motivated Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Site Engineer with us, you will be at the forefront of managing and overseeing civil construction projects. The role presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are eager to contribute to our growth and be integral part of a dedicated team. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including planning, execution, monitoring and ensuring that projects are completed successfully and meet the desired quality standards.

In this Role you Will

• Provide support to the WDC Site Manager and Supervisor for task such as

• Scheduling

• Procurement
• Development and Administration of ITPs.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
• Foster a culture of safety and quality on construction sites.

The ideal Candidate will have background & experience in:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field (will accept 10+ years in Civil Construction experience)
• Proven experience in civil construction
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) arrangements and 10n4 roster
