About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pub/Hotel Co-Manager to lead our Port Campbell Hotel team in Victoria. As the Pub/Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, financial management, and strategic direction of our renowned hospitality establishment. This is a full-time role based in the beautiful coastal town of Port Campbell, VIC 3269.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including bar, restaurant, accommodation, and customer service
  • Manage a team of hospitality professionals, providing leadership, training, and development
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience and build strong relationships with guests
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive revenue
  • Manage the hotel's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance the hotel's operations

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience (3+ years) in a similar pub/hotel management role
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and profitability
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Thorough understanding of hospitality operations, including liquor licensing, food safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field would be an advantage
