We are seeking a dependable and experienced professional to join our family as a Permanent-Part-time Household Manager. This role combines both childcare and household management, providing a long-term career opportunity for someone who values creating a safe, organised, and nurturing home environment.

About the Family

We are a warm, professional household with two boys (ages 8 and 6), led by a busy CEO. The family values kindness, structure, fun, and reliability, and is seeking a trusted support person to help balance the demands of work and home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent care and support for children, including school routines, activities, reading, homework and after-school needs
  • Manage household routines and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Support family well-being through reliability, discretion, and proactive assistance
  • Overnight stays when required, due to travel commitments

Household Management

  • Healthy meal planning and preparation
  • Laundry, ironing, and school uniform organisation
  • General tidying, cleaning, and household organisation
  • Grocery shopping and errands

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a nanny/housekeeper role, ideally with school-aged children
  • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Strong organisational skills, flexibility, and discretion
  • A caring, dependable, and proactive personality

Working Hours & Conditions

  • Structured mix of mornings, afternoons, and evenings
  • Occasional overnight stays and occasional weekend coverage
