**Housekeeper / Home Help / Support Worker - Part-Time (15 hrs/week)**
- Rochedale South, QLD_ | _2 days/week_ | _$30-$70/hr (commensurate with experience)_

**About the Role**

We’re seeking an experienced **housekeeper**, **home-help**, or **support worker** to assist a professional working from home who lives with disability. This is a **flexible part-time job** (15 hours/week over two days) that involves **domestic assistance**, **light cleaning**, **home organisation**, and **task coordination**.

You’ll play a key role in supporting a respectful, inclusive household by enabling productivity, reducing mental load, and maintaining a calm, organised home. Our household includes adults, school-age children, cats, dogs and chickens. This is _not a personal care role_—you won’t be providing personal care or medical support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Home organisation and decluttering
- Light housekeeping and domestic cleaning (e.g. floors, surfaces, laundry)
- Basic meal preparation and kitchen resets
- Scheduling and prioritising personal appointments and errands
- Developing and maintaining simple systems to reduce cognitive load
- Providing task leadership for casual domestic support workers
- Running errands (e.g., shopping, post office, marketplace tasks)
- Limited basic pet-care and child-care tasks

**What We’re Looking For**

You might be a former **personal assistant**, **household manager**, **disability support worker**, or **domestic cleaner**—if you’re organised, empathetic, and thrive in independent roles, we’d love to hear from you.

**Must-haves**:
✔ Positive Blue Card (or willing to obtain)

✔ Open driver’s licence & own reliable transport

✔ Experience in home help, housekeeping, support work, or similar

✔ Excellent organisation and time management skills

✔ Safe manual handling skills to achieve household and organisational tasks

✔ Comfortable working autonomously and flexibly

✔ High discretion and professionalism

**Highly desirable**:
⭐ Experience managing or guiding other workers

⭐ Familiarity with neurodivergent or disability support contexts

⭐ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
