As the Email & Conversion Marketing Lead, you'll own the end-to-end delivery of email marketing, user journeys, and conversion tactics — managing everything from segmentation and automation to creative, testing and reporting.

You'll lead a small team of three, providing direction, coaching, and support to deliver seamless, high-performing campaigns. You'll also work closely with the Head of Marketing & Partnerships to drive strategy, streamline operations, and bring innovative campaign ideas to life.

You'll play a key role in growing participant numbers, maximising fundraising outcomes, and ensuring every supporter feels connected and celebrated.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, write, and schedule engaging email campaigns across the full challenge lifecycle
  • Design and optimise landing pages with strong copy and visuals that convert
  • Manage email automations and user journeys (e.g. onboarding, fundraising, in-event comms)
  • Segment audiences and personalise messaging for higher engagement
  • Run A/B tests and optimise performance across subject lines, content and CTAs
  • Analyse campaign metrics and report insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead, mentor and develop three direct reports within the marketing team
  • Collaborate with tech and creative teams to maintain consistent brand messaging
  • Support the Head of Marketing & Partnerships with strategy, planning and team coordination

About You

  • 6+ years' experience in email marketing, ideally in a fast-paced or campaign-heavy environment
  • 3+ years' experience leading and developing a team
  • Skilled with tools like Iterable, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, or similar
  • Strong grasp of data, segmentation, testing and conversion principles
  • Exceptional written communication and attention to detail
  • Collaborative, purpose-driven, and confident juggling competing priorities
  • Comfortable with basic email design and user experience principles
  • Ready to pitch in across broader marketing activities when needed (social, app, content, etc)

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience in health, fundraising, or large-scale campaigns
  • Have worked with not-for-profits or community-based initiatives
  • Understand UX and customer journey optimisation

Why You'll Love It

  • Join a passionate, creative team making a real difference
  • Work with one of Australia's most recognised mental health initiatives
  • Contribute both strategically and creatively in a supportive environment
  • Lead and grow a talented team of three marketers
  • Enjoy the reward of seeing your work directly impact thousands across the country
